![]() ![]() It’s an eerie concept, to begin with, but when layered with disturbing imagery and off-kilter plot elements Severance adds up to quite the unsettling story. ![]() Severance stars Adam Scott as Mark, an office worker for Lumon Industries in the Macrodata Refinement division who’s also part of the “severance” program – a group of employees who have undergone a medical procedure to separate their work memories from their non-work memories. Comparison to The Stanley Parable seems a bit on the nose but it’s the exact same kind of weird at play in Severance. In fact, the entire office is just as weird, with a maze of bright hallways that seemingly lead nowhere that’s reminiscent of The Backrooms creepypasta. And that retro aesthetic is so mundane it’s weirdly unsettling. This paper aims to reflect about money in contemporary capitalism, particularly about the question related to the fact that, nowadays, even in the world level, the thing that embodies. All in all, Capitalism 2 is a great game. After all, it includes lots of additional keys you won’t find on a standard mechanical keyboard. Capitalism 2 is a comprehensive business simulator that lets you use real, complex business. The keyboard itself is already pretty weird. No escape… get it? The level of detail in Severance is utterly impressive and this weird little quirk is surely no coincidence.
